ITSM issue after upgrade from7.0 to 7.1SP10

Hi all,

we encounter an issue with life cycle management. Can you guys help us out with the following?:

When we setup ITSM that is upgraded from 7.0 to 7.1SP10, the transaction types are not available when creating an issue (ZMIN, ZMRQ, ...). Even SMIN is nowhere to be seen. The problem lies within the business roles that we defined in SPRO.

When we setup ITSM from a fresh installation (7.1SP10) there are no issues. We did exactly the same configuration in SPRO.

We have already performed the steps provided in sap note 1172066, but without any result.

Anyone to the rescue?

    in 7.0, we do get the transaction types by activating BC sets, but in 7.1 this is not required, this can be achieved by "Activation of piece list"

    run solman_Setup -> basic configuration step 5, activate piece list.

    if you are sure you done, try with the report AI_CRM_CPY_PROCTYPE  with the update or display option, and check able to see the SMIN.

    also make sure in DNO_CUST4, you maintain the PROCESS_TYPE parameter.
