SPOOL issue

Hello,

All new Spool requests are coming in waiting status in SP01 (Waiting for output formatter, Waiting for spool server). However, SPO work processes are free.

Any inputs?

Hi Nitin,

Are you using Remote spooler means external spooler for printing ?Also are you able to connect that remote spooler if using ?Please share.

@Gaurav/Sriram: All SPO work processes were free and somehow issue is resolved automatically.

Just for information, there was only one SPO under running process since quite long. I killed that process at OS level and may be that resolved this issue.

Hi Nithin

Just go to transaction code SPAD - Select the admin tab- under that you can find the "Consistency Check of Spool Database" just press its will start the spool db consistency check  & paste the result screen shot

Share the status of spool work process from SM50.Check for no spool WP process under hold condition.
