bank account interest calculation

hello guru,

i have configure all customization regarding bank account interest calculation, here my question is that i have taken loan from sbi bank 1000000 at the rate 10 %,and loan given to abc company 500000 at the rate 12% as on 01.04.2014. can i calculate interest on loan first period on 08.04.2014, whereas i am using april to march (12) period.i have mention date 01.04.2014 at OBAC,OB81,OB83,

Hi Rakesh,

Can you please specifiy your requirement a bit more clearly. Do you want to calculate interest from 01.04 to 08.04 now? or is it like you want to calculate interest for whole period?

hi gaurav, thanks for your intrest , i am confuse that is it possible to calculate intrest through(f.52)

01.04.2014 to 08.04.2014,

or is it also possible calculate intrest for whole period but i calculate intrest as on 08 .04.2014.

HI Rakesh,

you can calculate interest for any given period. F.52 gives you the option for selection of date range.

Hi Rakesh,

Yes it is possible to calculate interest for the period that you want. You can regulate it through Calculation period field in F.52. Please check and let me know in case of any further issues.
