Dear Gurus;
There is a requirement regarding the Time Evaluation & Unpaid absence.
They want whenever they are generating the Time Evaluation and the system finds that the employee didn't sign in or out in "IT2011" then it automatically affects absence type "Unpaid Absence" in IT2011.
How can this be done.
Thanks in advance.
Best Regards;
Lobna
You can refer document below to have more idea. After that you can propose new option to your customer, instead of creating new absence in IT2001, you can directly reduce ee's salary in Payroll. Hope it's useful.

You can have a custom function in Time Evaluation to directly update the unpaid absence in IT2001 if employee don't have any clock in/out in IT2011 for particular day. so as per your configurations in unpaid absence, payroll will deduct the wages.
Thanks,
Srikanth.

Hi,
Time evaluation will not generate absences but it will do things that could be of use to your scenario, a few are below (but not limited to):
1. Messages for transactional teams to pursue with manager/time admin.
2. Wage type deductions where assumptions of non attendance have occurred.
3. Quota accrual and deductions to manage time balances.
Have you looked at the tolerances on the clock in/out config, this may help you to config your client in cases of missing entries...
I hope this helps,
Will
