Hi,
We have set up Technical Monitoring for all systems on our landscape including PI 7.4 (JAVA single stack). What are the different alerts that can be set up for application level (i.e. not related to OS or DB), especially those that relate to errored messages or stuck messages and which are the technical monitoring templates to be used for it? Are the Integration Directory and Adapter Engine templates enough for this or do we need to activate any of the alerts in the J2EE templates?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions or advice.
Regards,
Dipyaman

Hi Dipyaman
I would advice you to set up of Integration Monitoring (PI monitoring) in addition to Technical Monitoring, it's tailored for monitoring your PI components in greater detail. You can also set up E2E Message Flow Monitoring as part of integration monitoring to keep an eye on message flows.
Best regards
Tom
