Hi all,
We are using ITS 6.20 patch level 19(with hotfix) and EP 6.0 SR1. We created IAC iviews in portal and we are able to access the IAC iviews. We are facing problem when we give print from IAC iview. We are getting <i>File does not begin with '%PDF-'</i> message and opens a new window and nothing is happening after that. We are using R/3 4.6C version with kernel level updated to 4.6D 2106 patch.
Did anyone encountered the error before.

Hi,
We resoved the above problem. We followed the steps as mentioned in note# 317851 . Also given authorization access for the zpdf1 for the users. I am not getting the above error but i am seeing window opening & closing after giving print command and getting message "Spool request executed on SAP printer zpdf1 " and its not printing. I tried the same from R/3 and its printing in PDF format. I checked the trace file in ITS and its showing <i>SemgHandlePrintDataRequest: Can not read systemname</i> warning message.
Can anyone help me in this issue.
Regards
Vasu

Hi vasudevan,
If i am correct you are trying to print output of a report. We have also faced similar iss,ues.. but unfortunately couldn't resolve this. finally we had to re-design report and output was put in smartform.
which has easy to print options.

Sudhir
