I got a client requirement to configure Earned leave and Casual Leave. Please find the scenario details
1. Earned Leave:
Accrual basis is monthly with 1.5 days. It will be prorated on the basis of Present days. That means if an employee availing paid leaves in a month then the EL allotment will be 1.5. But If the employee is in loss of pay then the EL= (1.5/calendar days) * present days.
National/Festive/Declared/Weekly off day can be prefixed and suffixed to casual leave/absence but not with earned leave
Client is following negative time management.
2. Casual Leave:
Casual leave 6 days shall be credited in the beginning of April and October every year.Quota allocation will be on fiscal year basis.
As per my knowledge I've to configure a Period parameter as Bi-yearly. i.e. 01.04.2014 to 30.09.2014 and next will be from 01.10.2014 to 31.03.2015
Please guide me with your valuable suggestions.
