Releasing Embargo Blocked documents manually

Hi,

I have created a sales order in SAP ECC which gets transferred to SAP GTS. On saving the sales order, I get a message showing the status of my document as Blocked.

Reason for Block is Embargo & SPL. When I go to GTS Area Menu in GTS system, and look for Blocked documents, I see RED light on both "SPL" & "Embargo". But,when i Execute "Release Blocked Documents (Embargo)", I see a message saying "No data found; change the selection criteria".

Could you please help me out with this issue.

Hi,

I tried this with another document and encoutered a scenario.

Since, the document is bot SPL and Embargo blocked, we can have below mentioned scenarios

1. In first scneario, released SPL Block Manually and was not able to see document under Embargo Blocked Documents.

2. In the second scenario, I first went and released Embargo Block, and now I am not able to see any documents to release in SPL.

Hi Madhav,

Yes, I think you've found a bug, and you might want to create an OSS incident.

Documents appearing in the "Release Embargo manually" report must have blocked status for Embargo and General Compliance.  But releasing the Embargo block also (wrongly, in my view) releases the General Compliance block.

The "Release SPL manually" report works in the same way, so any document where Embargo has been released will not appear, due to the fact that the General Compliance block is cleared.

The logic for releasing the General Compliance block seems to be wrong.  Currently it is released if any of (Embargo, SPL or Legal Control) are released.  To my mind, it should only be released if ALL of those are also released.  FYI, I think the problem is in Function Module /SAPSLL/CUHD_CON_AGG_STAT_DET.

Hi Madhav,

If the concerned document is showing a red ligt in the area for SPL and Embargo checks, then  there is definately a block on these aspects for this document. Then, the  only issue  might be with your selection criteria itself  in the Release blocked documents area. Please have a re-look into the selection parameters, input the right data at appropriate place and then try again. If still not possible, please share the screenhsot for your selection critera with me and check for the logs of this document through monitoring functionality. Hope this will be helpful to you.

Hi Madhav,

In the selection screen, the Legal Regulation is proposed from the Parameter ID.  Could it be that the proposal is not correct, and you need to clear or re-select that field?  I know it's a silly thing, but I have been caught many times by it.

Otherwise, please display the document (Monitoring: Display Existing Documents) and check the log again.  Is the document now showing a red light for Embargo?
