How to reset Personnel Number

Dear Guru,

I want to delete personnel Numbers in PRD system. I try PU01 to delete payroll Result. It Show me Message

Deletion forbidden! Result was posted with posting run 0000001041 (run type PP)

At this time i am in March Payroll. Its Posted By Mistake in January and also I want to Reset Number range. Suppose I create 10 Test Employees. Current number is 2010. I want to It back on 2000.

HI Tariq,

Delete personal number in PRD is NOT AT ALL ADVISABLE. dont know what is your requirement and why your trying to delete?

To delete personnel number ,you can use t-code PU00.

To reset the number range, you can use t-code PA04 and adjust the current number as 2000.

Dear Shan,

One of my client Create Test employees on prd system.

3 Payroll Document Posted. Currently We are in March. Only Few tested employees are in january Payroll Run. Can We Reverse only tested Employees . Here Document posted for 1500 Employees. I only want to resever the payroll posting and then delete personnel Number

Hi,

If you posted the document along with 1500 employees you can not reverse the document for especially test employees. make any action like exit employee or change their payroll status PU03 do not run payroll after.
