Locks

Another unusual problem...

When I was checking the default.trc log and the xi.log i have found that i'm having a lock problem...

I've went to Administration-lock overview but i don't have any locks. On sm12 there is no user locking any object...

I've searched the forum but there are no more topics pointing to a similar problem...

Any ideas?

Hi Goncalo,

Check

1) if there is any transport waiting for "activation" on these objetcs

2) Since this is a file adapter, check if this file is opened by any other person.

Hope this helps to fix your probelm

Hi Vishnu,

two doubts...

when you say waiting for activation, you mean change lists?

Is there any special transaction to see if the file is being already used?

Thanks

Hi Goncalo,

1) yes I mean the change lists

2) I hope it is a file, to which you have access.

in that case, you can try to open it and see if you can edit & save (then you would get the info of other user).

Hope this helps

Regards

Vishnu
