COPA: Report

Hi All,

Aim: To see profitability report.

In profitability report revenue is showing but cost is not showing.

Procedure:

1st Cost will book against a cost center.

2nd Through ksu5 that cost is flown to department wise cost center.

3rd Through keu5 cost from department wise cost center is flown to profit center.

I have done above steps and i have check that cost is distributed correctly, I have also executed ke24 to recheck by choosing record type as D.In ke24 cost is displaying correctly but when I execute the report the same is not displaying...strange but it is like this.......

In short in Ke24 cost is visible but in report it is not.......

What can be the reason and how can I correct it...

Please check the general selection parameter as there you can fix this.

Hi,

It's a standard Char, you don't have to create 'Record type'. In a Form,go to Menu bar --> Edit -->General data selection, please add Char. 'Record type' (refer screenshot below). and maintain explicit values of all record types used in your system.

Hi Nitu

If the report is not restricted to any record type, then the issue is with your selection parameters of the report

Simply execute the report with Company code and Year as a characteristic in selection screen.. if that brings the value, it means you were entering few more selection parameters earlier which are not populated during keu5

Hi,

In Menu bar --> Edit -->General data selection, please add Char. 'Record type' and maintain explicit values of all record types used in your system. It should work.

Their is no characteristic created as Record type present in operating concern..do i need to create one wwxxx or is their any other option??

Option i`m selecting in selection screen are period and year... I don`t have any other option available.

Most likely that you have selected record type F in report definition but record type D is not

Check that in KE35

There you see if you have made any selections related to record type, if no selection is made it has to display all the record type values, if you made any selections make sure it includes record type D also.

And also I hope you are also checking for the characteristics which you made KEU5 assessment only

As you suggested , done the same and no selection is made for record type value,so it means all record type values will be displayed.

And also I hope you are also checking for the characteristics which you made KEU5 assessment only

Can you explain  it in detail. Recievers in KEU5 are Profit center group.
