Hi All

Is it wise to try in SAP SD with MA in Economics having 3years of exp in sales and marketing .

If you have 3 years experience of sales and marketing and if you are interested with your work, then SD is best module for you.

Learn SD module for a year, then also try CRM including SD..

SD will much easy for you as you have the experience of sales..

Go  with  SAP SD  Module  .

Since  You have  idea  on  sales  for  3  years  .It will  be  useful  to understand  the  scnearios .

But my point is in current situation there are lots of SD consultants in market with technical skills and background so is it wise to start now with such degree like Masters in humanities ? Will  the recruiters consider  such profiles or nt as i have marked so many recruiters are asking for technical background or science background.So is it wise to take such risk

As you have already a master degree, so I think no matter for the technical background or science background.

If your knowledge about SD will much to impress a recruiter, then degree will be not important at that time.

Every company needs a minimum criteria for job (like as now Graduation), but you have crossed the limit, then don't think about your background.

if you have the strong knowledge about SD module and if you clear the technical round, then background will not much important.

Hi Mams,

first a lots of thanks for asking a very good question that having expertise in another domain , should any one start his career in a field where already many technical aspirants are in job hunt.

Please understands one thing, whenever new technology get introduced , tthe people moving towards it must not have any prior exposure, yes its true that mainly technical stream will move towards main streams, but its not mandatory.

See, each companies having some fixed criteria to search people because taking a degree denoted a matured person, and everyone wants to be with matured persons due to various reason, i am not going to brief it. Now, as you have Master's degree, you do not need to worry abaout it, you can take a foot ahead in SAP world, because you have just crosses the limits of taking the degree, and becomes a masters in terms of maturity.

So i will advice you to take a foot ahead in sap, and take training from any authorised training center

and practice well , so that you become familiar with it, once you became a passionate for it, you will find it as a simple to work with it.

Remember whenever you starts anything new, even trying to ride on a cycle , initially it becomes handy but when you became familiar with it you starts enjoying it, similar is with technologies, initially it feels handy, but once you will get enough exposure, it will became like riding a cycle.

Yes you can,As a graduate yo can opt any functional module related to sap.

you are having good number of experience in Domain you can surely go for SD That makes your resume more impressive too.
