Hierarchy problem

Former Member

Hello,

I’m trying to use a hierarchy in a report (like I did on many reports in the past). In the SAP system I see that the node contains certain values but in the Bex report it shows the values as not assigned (although they are assigned to a node !!!).

Did i miss something????

Please advise,

Amir

Hi Amir,

Have you activated the latest version of the hierarchy you are using. Once you have done that just log off and login again into BEx I guess it should resolve the problem.

Hope it helps.

Hi Anurag,

I tried to activate the hierarchy again but i get the message: 'There is no modified version for this hierarchy'.

This Hierarchy is extracted from a set. I tried extracting it again and then to log off and login again but it still doesn’t work.

Hi,

Are you observing same behaviour(assigned to unaasigned node) in the display of hierarchy in RSA1 also?

Hi Anil,

I dont know if i understand you right. In RSA1 when i look at the hierarchy under InfoObject i can see the node and the values under it. When i run the report with the same hierarchey in the Bex (and also in RSRV) i get the values in that node as unassigned values.

I found the problem... In the set there are 8 zeros after the value and in the set there are 10 zeroes...

It must be the problem.

Thank you for you help!!!

Hi,

Check the note mentioned in the thread:

So it is happing because of ALPHA conversion property.
