Employee cannot Apply Consecutive Casual Leave on Portal

Dear Experts,

I Want to configure that Employees unable to apply consecutive more than 1 casual leave through Enterprise Portal in ESS.

if employee tries to raise at a stretch can be restricted using counting rule in configuration itself.

Ex: 01-01-2014 to 04-01-2014   CL

If employee tries to raise as split for the dates continuously then you can't restrict at configuration level.

Ex: 01-01-2014 to 01-01-2014 CL

      02-01-2014 to 02-01-2014 CL

      03-01-2014 to 03-01-2014 CL

      04-01-2014 to 04-01-2014 CL

In this case you have to implement the BADI restrict the same in portal level.

Are you asking for employee not to raise more than one day of CL at a stretch ?

For this we have the option to mention the minimum and maximum no.os days allowed to take leave.

You can configure this in table V_T554S

You just have to mention Maximum duration field value 1, then this leave type will not allow to take more than 1 day.

Since as per your requirement employee should not request more than one day at a stretch for CL.

only that field Maximum duration is enough, it should work.

Read the document of that field by pressing F1 for more clear.

I am getting This message when i try to create more than one casual leave.

Maximum of 1 calendar days allowed for attendance/absence type 0002

He is entitle 10 Causal Leave in a year but message shows that 1 in a calender year.????

yes, it will not allow, as per your requirement employee should not allow to request more than one day at a stretch.

For example:

08.04.2014 to 08.04.2014   - Allow

08.04.2014 to 09.04.2014   - Not Allow in this case.
