Simple Variable Text Replacement

Hi guys,

I have the following Layout

Layout Category : Key Figures in Data Columns, Row Defined Individually

  BPS Version          -> Header
  Currency             -> Header
  Fiscal Year Variant  -> Header
  Fiscal Year/Period   -> Header
  My Key Figure        -> Lead Column

In my LAYOUT : DATA COLUMNS

Here, I have specified my

  
  Heading              -> <b>TPERACT</b>
  Key Figure           -> NEWLISTKF

I created a variable '<b>TPERPLAN</b>' on Characteristic 'Fiscal Year/Period' with

Replacement Type = User Defined Value

Selection Condition = 001.2005

Restriction of Values Required by User = Ticked

Input Allowed by User = Ticked

So, when I execute my Layout it looks as such

  
  Key Figure   January 2005  Unit
  KF-Value1       XXX        USD
  KF-Value2       zzz        USD
  KF-Value3       YYY        USD

My issue here are :-

1) The January 2005 does NOT get replaced according to my 'Fiscal Year/Period' in my Header

2) How can I hide the UNIT display ?
