Set up email text for PI alerts through Solution Manager 7.1

Hi colleagues

Our Basis Team has set up solution manager 7.1 to be the central monitoring system for our PI 7.31 single stack.

We are receiving alerts but we don't like the format (see image below):

We would like to have:

1. A descriptive Subject
2. A descriptive body with the Namespaces, Interfaces and other useful information as we had through ALRTCATDEF (configurable email body and subject)
3. Or, in other case, the attachment included as the body of the message.

I have been investigating about templates and setting up notifications in SM 7.1 but i can't get what we are looking for.

Could you help me to set up SM 7.1 in order to receive a proper email alert?

Hi Javier,

Not sure whether you've already seen SCN document , which explains procedure to change the subject of alert email.

Were you able to find a way to customise email content?

In fact, that was the solution, but, for us, it's not the best because we missed a lot of information we had before, when we had installed PI double stack, and the alerts were configured through ALRTCATDEF.

But, at least, we have a way to classify the email alerts

The email comes from SM, and i don't want to create any scenario for this purpose. SM is powerful enough to solve this problem, i think.
