I am not sure if I understood the question correctly, its confusing. But if you are finding some objects that are not mapped(found greyed out) in the Update rules for ITM, they might be mapped thro other infosources which are feeding to the ODS. Check other datasources/infosources and their update rules those might be mapped.

A gray InfoObject means that for a certain field in the ODS (the field displayed in gray) no mapping is made to the datasource. For example if the DataSource does not contain the same InfoObject.

There are several possibilities that you can choose from:

a) Do nothing.

b) Add a corresponding InfoObject to your Datasource. Then in the UpdatRules click on your InfoObject and connect it to the newly added InfoObject in the Datasource.

For example, you have 0MATPLANT in the ODS and you add this InfoObject to your DataSource (i.e. the communication structure of the DataSource). Next you can edit the UpdateRule and make the connection.

c) Connect the InfoObject to another InfoObject that contains the same datatype.

For example, you have 0MATPLANT in the ODS and 0MATERIAL and 0PLANT in the DataSource. You can connect 0MATERIAL to 0MATPLANT. This is a non-standard connection that can not be created automatically.

Hi,

SAp is saying that Those fields are available in Extraction structure , but we are not able to see them .To make them available , we have to use a little ABAP program to update the table ROOSFIELD (with OLTPSOURCE = '2LIS_02_ITM'). If you see this table with OLTPSOURCE = '2LIS_02_ITM' , you can observe that, SELECTION ='A' for the fields MCEX_UEBTK,MCEX_UEBTO,MCEX_UNTTO. SO using the ABAP code you have to change the value to ' ' from 'A' for those 3 rows.

After making change , you have replicate the data source.

You can find lot of postings for this problem (Even code also). Search the forum with 'ROOSFIELD'.

Hi,

With the upgrade to ECC 6.0 in the QAS environment the DataSource 2LIS_02_ITM does not have the following fields.

MCEX_UEBTO

MCEX_UEBTK

MCEX_UNTTO

Which can be the motive for that??

I hope someone can help me.. I need know why do not do the same in Production.

If it does not bring these fields it does not allow to activate the InfoSource in BW.

Best regards,

Cielo
