Can anyone explain me the differences between SAP XI 2.0 adapters and XI 3.0 adapters?
Thanks.
Hi inigo,
1)Difference between XI 2.0 and XI 3.0 their is pardigim shift in the way they implemet it.
2)In XI 2.0 Adapters are developed using plain JAVA,where as XI 3.0 they are developed using JCob(Java Connector architecutre.)this is the pardigim shift.
3)with XI 3.0 AF it enbales us to Mintor i.e. Central Montoring by using RWB(Runtime workbench).
4)with XI 2.0 u cant centrally montior the adapters.
5)with Xi 3.0 you can cofigure adapters centrally even though they are installed locally i.e near to client.
6)In XI 3.0 still we have Palin J2SE Adapters i.e. XI 2.0
Adapters for back ward copactability.
Thanks
