Hi,
In SMI Scenario with replenishment Order, I am using an existing number range for Purchase Order. This number range is also used by POs created directly in ECC.
When I create a Replenishment Order in SNC, it will create a PO in ECC and this PO number will be reflected as reference document in SNC.
I am not sure how to sync it with the number range used in ECC. In other words, how SNC will verify / know that what is the latest number for PO in ECC ?
Thanks,
Rahul Sharma
Hi Rahul,
In SMI scenario we need to have separate document type with number range as external created in ECC which will be only used for SMI PO's(replenishment order created from SNC) and also ensure no PO can be created manually from ECC for this document type.by doing this you can avoid inconsistency.
This is the best practise followed for SMI scenario.
But if you have requirement for number range sync for existing PO number range(PO are also created manually in ECC) then it is not possible to have sync.(in standard)

Nikhil
