Ad-hoc variables in web query

Hi Friends ,

Iam new to biw , i trying to create a Query and execute the same.

When i execute the same thru Query Designer i.e web query I'm getting the initial screen to enter the "Current Calendar Day " . But in my query i have not given any selection fields.

Can any one help me to resolve this issue...

Let’s check whether you have a var in the query.

RSZELTDIR table. Find the tech ID of the query (ELTUID field) by its tech name (MAPNAME field).

RSZELTXREF table. Find the tech ID of the query element (TELTUID field) by its tech name (SELTUID field). Select LAYP = ‘VAR’, OBJVERS = ‘A’.

If you find any entries here, then you have a var(s) assigned to the query. We can find further on which infoobject this var was built. But in your case it’s definitely 0CALDAY. So, search this 0CALDAY in the query and try to find a var attached as a restriction.

In the query designer, Query properties, check 'Sequence of entry variables'. Your var should sit there.

Probably, some of your chars are restricted by this var. Check it out.

I have checked in query properties , there is no entries under "Sequence of entry variables".

Is it some thing to do with templates???
