Hi Experts,

We want to set up alert for long spool work process. For example; we get alert is a spool process crosses 30 minutes while active.

We have similar alerts for long running dialog and background processes but I am not able to find MTE for long running spool process.

Could you please help me with this if its possible to have alerts on long running spool processes.

Please note that we do not need for waiting requests or number of spool requests. We need for long running spool work processes

Thanks

Varun

Have you checked this SAP help https://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/34/658a3b15566262e10000000a11402f/content.htm

Hi Deepak,

Thanks for your reply. But I could not find this MTE in list of MTEs. As per link

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/34/658a3b15566262e10000000a11402f/content.htm

We need to "Output Attributes tab page for an output devices and selecting the Monitor using the monitoring architectureindicator"

I tried selecting this as well in SPAD but this MTE did not appear in RZ21. Also; printers are in self system (e.q. ECC) but we are doing ccms monitoring of all systems using solman system which do not have all these printers defined

Could you please advise

Thanks

Hi Varun,

Have you perform this.

To start the monitor, follow the procedure below:

       1.      Start the Alert Monitor using transaction RZ20 or choose CCMS → Control/Monitoring → Alert Monitor.

       2.      On the CCMS Monitor Sets screen, expand the SAP CCMS Monitor Templates set.

       3.      Start the Spool System monitor from the list by double clicking it.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Deepak Kori
