General Data display mode in MK01 and MK02

Hi

I would like to allow display mode for general data view when user execute MK01 and MK02.

I maintain F_LFA1_GEN with activity 03 and 08 but still unable to display the general data .

It shows not authorize to change the general data view in fact i don't want to change.

Is there anything i need to check?

MK01 and MK02 is for create and change vendor master data..

You cant set this as display via authorization matrix.. You have to use MK03 to display the tab.

You can go with transaction variant (tcode SHD0) for a particular user instead of authorization.

OMSX is for client level and SHD0 for user level.

Just try them yourself. You will probably quicker get a result than just by waiting for an answer from him, its almost a year that he wasn't here.

Could please let us know what the exact requirement to restrict the user for general view at the time of vendor creation. 

In general process, system should allow to change the general view who's having the rights for MK01 and MK02.

Hi,

   You may define transaction based screen layout in OMSX. Go to OMSX and select Create vendor (Purchasing) - for MK01 and Change vendor (Purchasing) for MK02. Here, you can define the screen layout in the details and define the general data fields as display only.

   Please check the option and revert back.
