Identify the tables used in a .rpt file for hundreds of reports

We have several hundred Crystal Reports (.rpt files) and they are stored within folders.

Is there a way to search through these .rpt files to identify which tables are used within each. Specifically, we would like to search through each .rpt file to identify if a specific table was used in the SQL Coded (in the command object and through the native table linking function in Crystal Reports).

For Example, we want to find out which of our hundreds of .rpt files use the PATIENT table.

Thank you,

Hello,

This functionality is does not exist in Crystal Reports, or SAP does not have any tools for this kind of analysis. You may try this link, probably helps:

Another place to find third-party tools that might help with this is http://www.kenhamady.com/bookmarks.html. Ken has a bunch of links to various tools. Or, you could potentially write code using either the .NET or Java SDK to get this information. I have a "Crystal Documenter" application on my website that is not exactly what you need, but it would be enough to get you started with the .NET SDK to get the information you want.
