Why when i assign an user to one branch he is able to see data masters of others branch? Sap B1

Hi to everybody, why when I use the multiples branches and i assign a user to a branch he is able to see information of others?

I need to exclude him to see the masters data of others branch.

The only solution that I found is to assign a customer to a owner. Is there another solution?

Yes i saw this.As u told me, users of a branch can`t use master data of others branches, but they can see these datas and they can also activate masters data for his branch. (Im using Sap in Spanish sucursal meaning is branch)

So they can put available master datas and using it. Is it possible to dont permite this?

Hi Valerio,

I don't know if exist a standard way to block this action, but maybe you can do this by SPTN, creating a query that doesn't allow an user save a business partner with a branch that he is not associate.

Hi Valerio,

Suppose you have 3 branchs in your company A, B and C.

Your user is assigned the branch A and B.

You have a customer that is assigned only to the branch C.

Your user are able to see the data from the customer, but he is not able to create a document to branch A with this customer, when you try to add the document SAP B1 will display a message telling that you have use a valid customer for branch A.

In this case, I believe your approach is the better way to achieve what you need.
