SAP Portal Framework Changes

Hello,

We are on NW EP 7.3 and trying to make the following changes as part of Look and feel/Portal Framework :

1) Change the Text 'Options' which appears as a dropdown on the Top right location of the iview next to 'Full Screen'.

2) Change the Text 'Related Links' which appears on the Detailed Navigation Panel for all the Related iviews below the actual iview.

3) Masthead - Hovering on the 'New Session' and 'Logoff' Links shows a Border/Box around the Links , how can we change that? didn't find anything in the Theme for it.

4) Looking for a way to create a Top Spacing/Padding in the 2nd Level of the Top-Level Navigation right below the 1st level Navigation to move the text in the 2nd Level down.

How can we achieve the above tasks?

Any help would be highly Appreciated.

Hi

Can you please specify which iview you referred to?

Also please attach a screenshot if possible?

3) Do you mean the tooltip entry that is displayed when we hover over the 'Logoff' in mastheas that reads 'End the current portal session and Logoff'.

For :

1) The 'Options' dropdown appears in all iviews. Please find the screenshot below.

3) I am not referring to the tooltip text which appears when hovering but the Border/Box or Rectangle which surrounds the LogOff text.

Hi,

The screenshot looks like SAP ECC content.You may need to check the corresponding iview type, If it is a WDA iview, Find the application name from iview, Then you may have to change the the WD ABAP application in the backend.

For the theme related UI changes in Ajax framework page,Check this SAP document, If you have not come across this already.

Hi Rohit,

The "Options" button is coming from the page toolbar which sits inside of the ajax framework pages themselves.

You can use the translation worklist in order to change the title.

Regarding the border, this you can do in the theme editor under "content administration" >> "display".

Hi Saar,

Is there any option to remove new session and SAP Store link from masthead? I have already changed settings in framework page and masthead iview but its still shows in in personalize option in portal. Any idea how to change this? Hi

2) "Related Links' is an iview in the framework page, Find the iview in the framework page and change its name to whatever you want.

In general, If you use internet explorer, use the 'Developer tools' to find the HTML/CSS code for any UI element, This gives some idea where to change the code.
