Quantity-Based Overhead Rates

Dear Experts,

Quantity-Based Overhead Rates is not calculating in my costing sheet when I do the costing run

but percentage overheads is calculating. is there any separate setting are required for quantity based OH.

I have configured the below settings along with costing sheet

Overhead group in material master and that overhead group is defined in Costing Sheet

unit of measurement for material and the same unit of measurement is configured in Costing Sheet

In cost sheet i have defined OH rate and in OH rate i have given OH key with rate per unit

if there any problem if BOM components Unit of measures are different?

I have searched some other threads also I could not able to find out the reason where I did the mistake

Could you please provide me your inputs

Thanks & Regards

If you wanna calculate quantity based ovh on the output material, it won't work. Qty based ovh can work for input components in bom or activity qty in routing

To calculate quantity based ovh on FG or SFG output material, you should use template allocation instead of costing sheet or add as a workaround add an activity type in routing that represents output qty. Example if your FG plan qty is 10 KG, add activity type in routing with qty as 10 KG and maintain over kg rate in kp26/ kbk6

Everything seems to be OK to me.. If the UoM for which Overhead rate is maintained is different, ensure that UoM Conversion is maintained in the system

I assume in the BASE, you have included the Cost Element of the Raw Material consumption (GBB-VBR) if you wanna calculate Ovh based on raw material qty

Similarly, include Sec Cost element of act type if you wanna calculate Ovh based on Activity Qty
