Material is not defined for sales org. distr.chan

Hi All,

I am getting error in creation of sales order at time of giving a material it showing error

Material ZEL_FAN is not defined for sales org.1001,  distr.chan.10, language EN.

I have gone through the given SDN thread regrading the problem and i did change as well

like in MM02 some changes in additional data language give DE etc. but still its not working.....

Might be there is problem in Material it self when i select Sales Text tab in MM02 it showing error : Sales Text not active for the organizational level

and the organizational Levels Sales Org. and Dist Channel does't have any value.

Kindly give some solution for the above issue......

How to link material to Sales Org and Distr Channel

Please check first whether the material is availble in table MAPOV, if no data exist ,

goto MM01 maintain the sale related data.

After executing mm01 system will ask to enter sales org, dis channel, enter the sales org and D. channel which you are creating the sales order and maintain the

Sales org1/ org2 and sales general/plant data.

then again create sales order.
