OPeration 040 BOM material adding

Dear all,

I have  a scenario that

5 BOM is for =1 finished goods

While process order confirmation first 4 bom only to be added for three operation(OP 10,OP20,OP 30)

Remaining 1 bom is to be added only for last operation.(OP 040)

Kindly requesting you to give your suggestions how to process this scenario.

Hi Raja,

You can use component allocation function in routing. Select your operation in routing and push "Component Allocation" button. Choose your BOM and select components to be allocated in each operation.

Later, check in the component overview of your process order, the operation number will have been assigned to each component.

This is process order related,instead of routing here we are using master recipe.

Hi Raja,

In master recipe, open the "Materials" tab. There, you can assign the component to specific operation/phase. Refer to this page in SAP help: Component Assignment to Operations/Phases.

Hi Raja,

Production version is required for process industry.

Do you have 5 different BOM or 1 BOM having 5 components?

If you have a BOM having 5 components then you can do the component assignment in master recipe.

Hi Raja,

In your last screen there is option to create assignment left side fourth icon. You need to select the materials first  then click on Assignment icon and assign there item to operation or phase. Again you can select item which you want to assign to different phase or operation.
