I had been having weird issue with logon token , where it was creating additional sessions when opening reports using opendocument url. like below posts

So i opted to use serSession parameter instead of token for the opendocument, but when opening the url that has serSes then i am being displayed logon page. How can i go about this, I use the REST services sdk.

url format:

http://servername:6405/BOE/OpenDocument/opendoc/openDocument.jsp?sIDType=CUID&iDocID=<doc_Id>&serSes=<very_long_encoded_text>

Hi James,

Checkout my response in this discussion to make Opendoc login without showing login page when you've SSO setup.

Hi Mahboob,

I am not entirely sure your suggestion would fix the problem. Because we do not have BO tied to an active directory(i guess so), users i am testing with are inside the BO database. Problem is when i use the token in querystring in opendocument url, it does not show the logon page. But i need serSes(serialized session) in the query string to open the report using opendocument url( which by the way is displaying a logon page)
