Dear Experts,
I am using this report to generate absence quota in IT2006 in SAP. My issue is as follows:
PL - Every month 1 is accrued
CL - Every Month 1 is accrued
SL - Every month 0.5 is accrued
I have maintained the same in customisation, and works fine.
My issue is, the user wants that they should be able to view month wise data in SAP. Eg. , If in the month of january 1 PL is accrued, then in Feb it shud show as 1 of Jan + 1 of Feb thus making Feb quota as 2PL, and similarly for other leave types. But what happens is, I have done in the way that if we execute the report for period giving in selection screen as january, then jan leave is valid only for that period. It is not cumulating in other period.
How to do this? As I am getting very confused.
Thanks and Regards,
Bhagyashree
Hi, Bhagyashree,
Check the validity period of PL,CL,& SL..... End of validity interval 999 months... Then these leaves will be carried forward & appear in next month too...
Try this..

in the report if you want the quota accrual as month wise, please give the entitlement as 1 or 0.5 as per the quota type and select the related to period as monthly in t559E table and accrual period as month in T559L and validity and deduction as you mentioned in the above screen shot. and check the IT2006 of the employee and the PT_qta10 report.
what exactly you want to show to the users?
January quota value 1
February 1(Jan)+1(Feb)=2?
March 1(Jan)+1(Feb)+(March)=3?
if you want to show like this, the total quota entitlement for one year will exceeds the actual limit of the quota.
for further, you should delimit the validity and deduction periods of every previous month's quota and you should check that whether the January quota have been deducted or not? if yes then you should not show Feb quota as 2, if not deducted in January, you should carry forward that Jan quota to Feb quota.
is my understanding correct?
Hi,
Yes this is some what common issue.
PT_QTA10 is report to view the leave quota for employees.
Are you using quota generation report or time evaluation for quota?
Also, check your generation rule (validity interval).
Thanks,
Ketul
