Do I need to write a user exit? or is there any other way to do this?

Hello BW Gurus,

I want my output to be like this:

Week dept item date qty

38/2005 1 A 10/15 10

10/16 30

10/17 20

-

---

38/2005 1 A 20 output

-

---

I want only this resulted column to be displayed. I can get 20 by selecting 'result = last' in the property but when I remove the drill down on date its giving me the Result as follows:

-

---

38/2005 1 A 60 (But I want 20 the last day of the count)

-

---

Is there any way to do this? or do i need to write user exir?

Hello Govind,

Its not a calculated key figure and that's the reason i could not find the summation option. So, do i need to write User exit? or is there anyother way to do this?

Hi Liza,

If you goto the definition of the Key Figure in RSA1. There is a tab called Aggregation. In that 'SUMmation' is chosen by default. Try to see if selecting one of the other options in the Drop-down helps you.

I don't think a customer exit is needed for this.

yes, you are right that its summating but where can i change this as i looked in properties but did not fine any option like this. Please can you walk me through this.

Hi Liza,

I guess that is a Calculated KF. If so, goto the properties of the CKF, at the left bottm, there is a button called 'Enhance'. Click that. You will see the 'Aggregaion' Drop-down which might have 'Summation'. Change that selection. Let us know if it helped.

you might have to change the aggregation on your key figure quantity. Chenge it from summation. It is currently summation. That will let you get the latest value. Also you can change the result shown try setting result as overall result so that whatever dirlldown you do , the quantity value does not change.

If the dates are ordered you may get away with a TOP-N construction, where N = 1.
