Malfunction Start Date and Time not populating when using IW21

Hi,

We have an issue at the moment when we create an M1 type Notification and save the Notification, the Malfunction Start Date (Fiels AUSVN) and Time (Field AUZTV) is not being populated? It is only being populated when using IW22 and clicking on the Malfunction, breakdwon Tab!!

However when we create an M2 type Notification the same fields are populated with the Creation time and date.

There are no user exits/Badi's implemnented around this area.  Quick check on OSS returned no relevant notes for the system we are using SAPKH60506.

Any suggestions as to why?

Regards

Gary B

What is the Notification Origin for M1 & M2 notification types??

Hope, for M2 notification type, Notification origin would be Malfunction Report.

So, the required details are getting filled up.

We are using the standard Notification types and origins - M1 Type = 01 origin (General Maintenance Notification)  and M2 type = 02 origin (Malfunction report)

Change M1 notification type's origin as Malfunction Report or create Custom Notification type to cross verify the statement which I mentioned in my earlier reply.

Thanks for the reply.

So by default a Notification of Origin Type Malfunction Report auto populates the Malfunction Start and Time dates but a Notification of Origin Type Maintenance Notification does not auto populate the Malfunction Start and Time?

I'll try what you suggested in the clients DEV system and hopefully it will solve the problem.

Hi

Also you can check by specifying the malfunction data in the header screen so that it populates in M1 also
