Hello Guru's

i have configured tms in my system (dummy) and the connection was working fine.but i was wondering should all the systems in the landscape are of same release?

    Hi Harsha,

    It is recommended to have all the systems under Transport landscape to have same release and patch.

    Having different patch and release will lead to errors while importing the requests.

    You need to maintain a consistent landscape by keeping all the systems (Development, Test and the Production) in the landscape on the same release and patch level.

    Hi,

    All system in the TMS must have the same release and Patch.

    But if you are upgrade the patches means you may get some functional error and technical error while importing the Transport request .At that time you can Select the Ignore Predecessor Relationship check box in the Import request Tab and you may proceed with importing the request to the corresponding system.
