Need to display Technical names of the hirerachies in WEB Report

Hi,

I want to display the technical names of hierarchies to be displayed on the dropdown box for selecting hierarchies.

I did right click on the report and took properties,then said display hirerachy,in that Drop down box i am getting Description of the hirerachies and not the Technical names of the hirerachies.

Please help me.

Try changing the hierarchy in the query definition to display key and text.

Where exactly are you doing the drop-down box? Is this the web or excel?

Hi Jeff,

Actually we have Profit center in the free characteristic , with hierachy variable.

After executing the Query , click on Profit center , go to properties ,there you will able to see "Display hierachy" with Drop Down box.Here only teh description is diaplayed , but we want Technical name as well.
