To allow latest net price maintain in PIR update automatically into SA (after SA created few months later)

Hi all,

I have a business scenario here and am wondering if SAP is able to handle this.

When we first create the Scheduling Agreement, the net price is pulled from the PIR (we have a PIR for this).

However, given that the price is unpredictable and will change few months down the road (as it is a raw material). Hence during Goods receipt, the actual GR/IR price should captured accurately into system.

Hence I am wondering if the latest price is to maintain in the Purchasing Information records (i.e. few months when the price is changes), SAP can perform such auto mechanism in which the latest net price, which is maintained  in the PIR,   to be updated into the Scheduling agreement with accurate validate date from PIR?

If this is possible, what is the setup require in SPRO and in the ME32L?

Dear Daniel,

I think there is no customization option about that.

You should work with your ABAP Consultants. They will help you about updating the scheduling agreements according to info record which is changed.

Hi all ;

For scheduling aggrement, sap provides time dependent conditions which is updated manually to my knowledge. I think that you want to implement this process automatically. I looked at Oss notes but you will go developer unfortunetely.

For me , look at related Oss notes before start the project.

Hello all,

I found the following three options with regards to "Update LPA price conditions with info record price conditions".

• ME3R  ==> it seems after running it, the SA price still remain the same and not refresh with latest PIR price.
• MEKL ==> not user-friendly
• Make the LPA document type to become "time independent". However, this will impact global setup.
• User exit ==> this will be the best option, do you know how to perform this?

Hi all,

I am wondering if you have any solution with my problem.

To recap, basically, I want my  net price in the scheduling agreeement (LPA) to get update the latest price from the PIR, namely, when someone in other department update a new price in the PIR, the net price in the relevant scheduling agreement get updated.

I am wondering if you have this issue and how to resolve it in the system?

I tried ME3R and it doesn't work.

What about USer-exit?

There are no standard way to update the SA price automatically from changed info record...

Info record is a master data and SA is purchasing data..

Only at the time of SA creation it will pick all details from info record.. one you save the document, then it will never search for update from any master data...

You can do this via development...

Consult with your ABAP team, they will make a program for that.. You have to just run the program via SE38 or via any t-code..

Hi Daniel,

It seems like you should be able to do Automatic Document Adjustment on SA's too. But I have only worked with PO's - there it works fine I know.

In the standard SAP menu it is under Purchase order ® Follow-on functions ® Automatic document adjustment.
