To allow latest net price maintain in PIR update automatically into SA (after SA created few months later)

Hi all,

I have a business scenario here and am wondering if SAP is able to handle this.

When we first create the Scheduling Agreement, the net price is pulled from the PIR (we have a PIR for this).

However, given that the price is unpredictable and will change few months down the road (as it is a raw material). Hence during Goods receipt, the actual GR/IR price should captured accurately into system.

Hence I am wondering if the latest price is to maintain in the Purchasing Information records (i.e. few months when the price is changes), SAP can perform such auto mechanism in which the latest net price, which is maintained in the PIR, to be updated into the Scheduling agreement with accurate validate date from PIR?

If this is possible, what is the setup require in SPRO and in the ME32L?

    Hello all,

    I found the following three options with regards to "Update LPA price conditions with info record price conditions".

    • ME3R ==> it seems after running it, the SA price still remain the same and not refresh with latest PIR price.
    • MEKL ==> not user-friendly
    • Make the LPA document type to become "time independent". However, this will impact global setup.
    • User exit ==> this will be the best option, do you know how to perform this?

    Dear Daniel,

    I think there is no customization option about that.

    You should work with your ABAP Consultants. They will help you about updating the scheduling agreements according to info record which is changed.
