I need to generate EPM reports using 'Worksheet generation' option. Under a parent entity group, there are nearly 750 entities; for which in a single workbook, I need to generate worksheets.
How many worksheets can a workbook hold or can get generated for?
Is there any BPC limitation for maximum number sheets per workbook?
Just try

Hi,
Has anyone tried using the standard worksheet generation method?
I need to generate a workbook for 25 entities but Excel crashes when I try to do so.
Thanks,
Varsha

Hi Vadim,
I tested a very simple report and could generate 35 worksheets. Maybe more will be possible but I gave only 35 entities in selection.
The structure of our report is as follows:
1. 2 reports in each sheet
2. Members exclusions
3. Have used copy Range function
Unfortunately I could not find any Note related to this which I can show to client.
Thanks,
Varsha
Sorry, but it's strange to think that there is a note that can explain the relation between report complexity and number of reports that can be generated using worksheet generation
It's not possible to measure report "complexity"!
Just try to simplify your report...
P.S.Even without EPM it's possible to create very complex Excel file that will crash
Please see the note : 1763572 - EPM Add-in Limitations
