Hi
I have 10 bins (RR-SS)
Bin Sort Field
01-01 10
01-02 9
01-03 8
01-04 7
01-05 6
01-06 5
01-07 4
01-08 3
01-09 2
01-10 1
My Expectation: I would like the system to pick the bins from 01-10 to 01-01
Result: 01-10, 01-01, 01-09, 01-08,....., 01-02.
Can someone please help me why?
Thanks
Yogesh Agarwal.
Maintain sort fields as
01, 02, 03, 04, 05,... 09, 10
instead of
1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ... 9, 10
To check that I am right about this, before changing anything go to LS11 and click on your sort filed column title and sort it ascending. You will see that it is sorted like 1, 10, 2, 3 ... 8, 9.
When you change sort field values to 01, 02,... 09, 10 go to LS11 again and sort ascending, and you'll see that this time you will get the desired result: 01, 02, 03 ..., 09, 10.
This is because SAP sorts this field as text field instead of like number field.
The same will apply to bin search sequence during TO creation, it will be sorted just like in LS11.

Hello Yogesh,
You can have following option.
Maintain the sort field pick LAGP_REIHF in bin master LS02N as per your criteria. for ex- maintain the number as 1 to 10 for your bin in the sequence 01-10, 01-01, 01-09, 01-08,....., 01-02. in LS02N. After TO creation completed, you will find that, TO items are sorted/arranged in a sequence as per the sort number of Bin
