Can we assign same subtotal key to different ctypes? Will value be stored separately or will it get Added?

Example:

Cond type Zxxx  10$--- SUBTOTAL 1 KOMP-KZWI1

Cond type Zyyy  290$ --- SUBTOTAL 1 KOMP-KZWI1

are subtotal keys specific to Pricing procedure or we need to use same subtotal key in different pricing procedure for same cond type?

Pric Proc 1 ZUSA01 -- Cond type ZAAA Subtotal key 1 -kOMP-KZWI1

Pric Proc 2 ZUSA02 --Cond type ZAAA Subtotal key 4 -kOMP-KZWI4 do weneed to use same subtotal key here for same cond type?

Pls. suggest

Hi,

I hope we can't have a same sub total assigned within a Pricing procedure for different Condition types.

Because the ultimate aim of subtotal to hold the value, if it is assigned to the more than one Condition types, may be system can hold only the latest value. This may not give you the expected result.

Hi

Same subtotal can be added to different pricing procedures.

This will be specific to pricing procedure, It will not accumulate values from different pricing procedures

thanks

Hi Santosh,

Can you please elaborate a little more?

Really finding it difficult to understand the subtotal concept.

Thanks,

Hi Kishore,

Subtotal value can be captured either from a Condition type or through a Value line in a Pricing procedure.

The value of a Subtotal will be available in structure and can be used for further calculations some other purpose.

For example, Subtotal A is holding a value, which is used to cumulate the value and used for credit management.

Similarly we can define our own Subtotal and can use it for our intended purpose.

Hi Raja,

Thanks for the explanation.

Lets consider we are monitoring Credit management for a customer A.

So I suppose we will set a subtotal for Net value field in the pricing procedure.

This net value is cumulated and considered as  credit exposure for the customer, right?
