Transport History is Missing

Former Member

I recently did a system copy to my test system. I have stms up and funtioning properly. However, the transport history is missing from before the system copy. I've tried deleting TPALOGHDR but the history still only goes back a few days.

Any ideas/assistance is appreciated.

Thanks,

Dan

Hell Daniel,

You will not be able see the transport history before system copy in QAs as it contains the transports history of PRD system due to system copy.

Hi Daniel

As you are doing a System Copy , the QAS system will contain all the transports which had moved to PROD + the imports which had moved after your system copy was successful.

Also for any specific Transport , did you try checking in SE01 from your Domain Controller.

Thanks

Hi Daniel.

After System Copy and setup of STMS the transport history is destroyed.

I export the tables that contain all RFC data (sm59) and transport history (STMS History) in all system copy.

Create a CR of Transport of Copies and put the tables:

TPALOGHDR

TPALOG

For QAS Approval (note 397138):

TMSQWLF

TMSQNOTES

TMSQNOTESH

TMSQWLH

TMSQWLFH

TMSQWL

TMSQLASTWL

Hi,

You can try using TPALOG table from  different ALOG* files under /usr/sap/trans/log.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the suggestions.

All alog files are available from the begining of time. I've tried deleting the entries in tpaloghdr and restarting stms, but still no history back past the system copy.

Thanks,

Dan
