Dear Sundeep,

If you still need assistance please paste for me the contents of file : jvm_bootstrap in "work" folder

you will find more than one of them like jvm_bootstrap.ou0  and jvm_bootstrap.ou1  and jvm_bootstrap.out

and maybe i will assist you.

Dear Reagan,

Thanks a lot for quick response. The  jstart_bootstrap_J00.log is empty.

Please suggest.

Hello Sandeep

Go to the E:\usr\sap\CE7\J00\work directory and check the trace files there.

It appears to me that you have issues during the startup of the SAP system.

Make sure the database is running. As you are using MaxDB install MaxDB Studio and connect to the  database using that.

Hi Reagan,

I checked and MaxDB is working fine. I am actually trying to install on Windows Server 2012. Please let me know if this is caused due to OS authorizations.

Sandeep.

Please paste the content of jvm_bootstrap.out or log_bootstrap.logs.

Check the Note: 1947115 - Java startup issue during Installation / System Copy on step 'runBootStrap'

Hello Sandeep

As there are no trace files in the work directory then it is difficult for me to assist you.

You may follow the second option suggested in the SAP note 1947115 - Java startup issue during Installation / System Copy on step 'runBootStrap' which is to raise an OSS message to BC-INS and ask for a solution.

Resolution

To solve this problem is necessary to substitute the Jurisdiction Policy files from your installation. Download the files from SAP Marketplace and apply them properly as described by SAP note 1240081.

Afterwards run the installer to continue the process choosing the option 'Continue with Old Option'. If the issue persists, open an OSS incident to BC-INS and attach the following information for further analysis:

    sapinst_dev.log

    control.xml

    summary.html

    keydb.xml

    whole /usr/sap/<SID>/<instance>/work/ directory
