Questions regarding sp_iqconnection "INT: FlushStats"

Hi experts

When I run sp_iqconnection I see a conncetion named: FlushStats.

It never disappears.

I did not find documentation explaining what is exactly the role of this internal process.

Some user groups posts talk about connection preventing IQ stop.

I've experienced it also in some occasions.

Another problem with it is that its' line appears in differnt format.

LastReqTime column retrieved from "select * from sp_iqconnection()" returns as empty string where as

other lines for other connections returnms date (as needed).

This vcauses application problems.

Some answers in posts recommended 'playing' with -gn switch.

At first this switch was not defined on my system but even after adding and 'playing' with its' value connection still appears.

I'd like to know:

1) what is the role of this connection?

2) is it normal it appears all of the time?

3) if not, how can I eliminate it?

4) Is it normal the date LastReqTime column retrives differnt types (for normal connection and FlushStats connections).
