Hi Shrikant,

Why don't you refer the OSS note 1529649?

Check the validity of the factory calendar in the system by using transaction SCAL! Extend the validity of the calendar manually according to your specific needs! A detailed description on how to change the calendar is delivered in note no. 501670.

Hello

From the PP point of view, the factory calendar should be long enough to cover all your planning elements. A planning element outside the factory calendar generally leads to the error message 'date not convertible' on MD04 and MRP.

If your company manufactures products with a long lead time (e.g. planes, ships...) your factory calendar may have to be extended for a longer period than the factory calendar of a company that produces pens.

Hi Shrikant,

Extending factory calender upto period of 5 years should be sufficient.

Refer to the below discussion.
