System requirements for Web Dynpro

Dear friends,

I am the beginner of Web Dynpro. I want to know the system requirements and the necessary software to develop some project by Web Dynpro base on Windows platform. Please advise.

By the way, is it necessary to setup the New PC or Server for this.

Hi Sukasem,

This Netwearver sneak preview installation installs WAS server and netweaver developer studio on your machine.

Netweaver developer studio is required to develop your applications and then you need to deploy these applications on WAS server.

For this your system should contain 1 GB RAM. This is recommended by SAP. Iternet explorer version should be 5.5 or higher.

I am not sure if you guys have noticed but the slim edition does not come with an SLD and so chances are that you would get stuck not able to connect R/3.

I suggest ,post sneak preview install import the next support pack from http://service.sap.com/sp-stacks (select SAPDB though)

You should have a j2EE engine running where you can deploy the applications. You haveto install netweaver Developer Studio for developing webdynpro applications.

You can download the Sneak Preview NetWeaver04 to develop web dynpro projects.

NetWeaver Developer Studio whic is used to develop WebDynpro projects is bundled with Sneak Preview NetWeaver04.
