InputField Mask

How do I get an inputfield to mask/format the input as

(XXX)XXX XXXX.

I tried to set a ddic type of long (and set the format as mentioned above) to the inputfield but it does not work.

    • Hello Siddhartha,

      Check Valery`s nice blog:

    Hallo Siddahartha,

what's the type of the context attribute to which the InputField-UI-element is bound, "long"? For formating numbers have a look at the Javadoc of the NumberFormat class. You can enter these format patterns within the corresponding dictionary simple type meta data field.

    Regards, Bertram
