RMMRP000: Badi for writing purchase requisition instead of stock transfer when MARD-DISKZ = 2

Hi All,

in MD01 or MDBT with RMMRP000 my client wants to always trigger a purchase Requisition instead of a stock Transfer Reservation when:

1. MARD-DISKZ = 2 (separate replenishment for storage Location) is maintained for a certain storrage location

2. other storage locations are valid and calculated on plant Level

3. other storage Locations have enough stock to cover that separate required replenishment

Requested result is that a purchase requistion for replenishment from another plant is ALWAYS triggered separately for that separate storage location.

As I assume that I have to change SAP's standard functionality herefor, I happily open the global discussion for receiving your tips and hints what BADI I should use and how to do so.

Hi Hennning,

Please check the BAdI MD_EXT_SUP run MRP for a material where stock transfers between storage locations should be created MRP generates stock transport requisitions or planned orders for stock transfer.

1. Does the material requirements planning support stock transfers between MRP areas?

Answer:

It supports the stock transfer from plant MRP area to storage location MRP area or subcontractor MRP area via stock transfer reservation or stock transfer requisitions by default. As of Release 4.70 (Support Package 17, Extension Set 20), stock transfer scenarios between MRP areas can also be realized. To do this, you must activate the flag for SCM enhancement. This enhancement allows you to maintain the issuing storage location (for example, in the purchase requisition). You can use the BAdI MD_EXT_SUP to determine and assign the issuing storage location (for example, for the creation of stock transport order proposals in MRP). You must take into account that stock transfers are not possible from a subcontracting MRP area. The BAdI determines the issuing STORAGE LOCATION, this means it does not determine an issuing subcontracting vendor.
