COPA:Scenario

Dear Guru`s,

I have one scenario...

How can I distribute plant maintenance cost on products in CO module using COPA.

Let say if rs1000 is paid as plant maintenance charges and plant produces 100 quantity of Product A in a month.I wan`t to distribute that rs1000 to 100 quantity,is it possible???

Hi Nitisha

Its a Looooooooong process

You settle the PM Order to Appropriate cost center.. Assume maintenance is incurred for Mfg CC.. Then settle the PM Order to Mfg CC

Now this cost will get included in the activity price of the Cost center (Say, machine hr rate)

From there, it gets charged to the products depending on how much machine hrs is used by each product

Dear Sir,

My client don`t use Product costing.

Let me explain you...It is a service based company and Product costing,Material ledger,Production Planning has not been implemented.

You are so lucky, I am jealous of you

Then the options I see are

1. Settle the PM Order to a CC and allocate from CC to COPA (KEU5)

2. Settle the PM Order to COPA (High level PSG) and then do Top Down Dist to Product level (KE28)

Hi

Option 1- settle the PM order to CC. Then create an assessment cycle from keu1 for the CC and execute from keu5.

CC will be the sender and Products will be receiver. Basis of allocation you need to identify as sales qty or revenue

Option 2- settle the PM order to copa. Say at company code level.

Then do top down dist from ke28 and you can allocate to products from ke28. You can search forum in how to do ke28
