How do I remove Inspect with material specification from a QM Lot??

So I have a couple of parts that have been put into QM lot that were put in with the modifier of inspect with mat spec. When I go to the material management page I can change the inspection setup to not include or uncheck the "Insp. with mat spec." but when I go to try and release these parts from QM Lot they will not budge. Any idea on how to get rid of this requirement?

You don't on existing lots.

You have to do one of the following:

1) create the material spec, process the lot and then delete the material spec and undate the material master

2) run MBST and reverse the material document that created the lot in the first place. That should cancel the lot. Then edit and correct the material master, then receive the material in again.
