unicode - to non- unicode problem

Hi,

my scenario is as follows:

I have 4.6 system(non unicode) -> sends RFC to XI (unicode) - > biztalk (via SOAP)-> back to XI back to SAP 4.6.

The language of the message is not in English.

everything work well until the message eturn from XI to the SAP system. I get the non-english message in a format that i can't read.

I guess the source of the problem is because the XI which is unicode sends the data back to a non-unicode system.

how can i resolve this?
