Error with Technichal System Definition

Hi Everybody,

I've got like 20 systems connected to solman 7.1 sp10. All of them with their diagnostic agent and wily, all the wizards are green and everything looks good except for the "System Status" in solman_workcenter which is red. On the details i got the following error.

'DES~ABAP': Cannot get Technical System from ICM 'DES~ABAP~~ICM'

I haven't been able to find any log concerning to the error or anything that helps me to solve it.

Does anyone knows why is this happening or anoyone who have had this error?

Thanks in advance.

Rafael.

    Hi Labarca,

You can try running Landscape verification in LMDB for this particular system. This may help to correct the problem.

    Hi,

Please double check whether correct ICM host name and installation path under technical system properties.

and other workarround run the manual SYNC with SLD again, or check the sap notes anything relevant found.

    Thanks

    Jansi

    Hi

I know this thread here is some month old, But there might be others out there having the same problem, as I had. But I found the solution and here is what worked for me.

I opened the LMDB for this system, picked the line Technical instances in the navigation tree. I secured that the field" Technical Instance name" in the Section "Application Server ABAP"  was correct . Then I filled in the port informations for the icm/server_port_0 in the HTTP Port section. This was empty in my situation.  I compared with one of the other systems that were working.

The HTTP Port name I set to: icm/server_port_0 and the URL to HTTP://<hostname>:80<instno>

After this was saved the error was gone,

I also first checked that there was this entry in the instance profile

    icm/server_port_0 = PROT=HTTP,PORT=80$$,TIMEOUT=600,PROCTIMEOUT=600

I was there, but I thing this will be a prerequisite for this to work.

    Regards
