Either service or limit in PO or PR for one line item

Hi,

We have  one requirement that for a line item of PO or PR either services or limits can be entered not both.

Is there any standard message control or enhance needs to be done then where?

Is means you want like that:

When someone enter the services, then limit tab will goes to hidden... Or the limit tab will be in display mode...

Or when someone enter the limit, the service tab will goes to hidden or the service tab will be in display mode,...

Right ?

As of my knowledge, there are no settings to achieve this..

You have to go for a development...

And exit/badi can do that a per your requirement...

Hi Alokesh,

In service procurement when you use item category D, you get two tabs in PO item level one for service and other for Limits for which you can procure a service and restrict for some value.

Hi,

   There i s no standard configuration option to achieve the special requirement. You may go for development. You may check the BAdI: ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST or similar with the help of abap team.

Also note if PR or PO having 2 line items then first line can have service and the 2nd line can have limit or vice versa...
